MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The President of Philippines’ visit to Japan may be cut short as Duterte has done the “usual” again.
The Filipino president has sent several warnings and fired abusive words (including the F*** word) directed at the Japanese Prime Minister and Emperor whle on a state visit. This was after the Japan PM made few suggestions expressed concerns over his visit to China.
Duterte is noted for insulting anyone who comes by his way. Not long a go, a meeting between him and that of the United States president Barack Obama was cancelled due to the insults fired by Duterte at him.
“Upon the invitation of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte will undertake an Official Visit to Japan on 25 to 27 October 2016. During his visit, the President will meet with the Japanese Prime Minister. He will also make a State Call on His Majesty Emperor Akihito of Japan,” the Department of Foreign Affairs said
President Rodrigo Duterte, during the courtesy call in Malacañang of Japanese investors based in the country October 11, mentioned his upcoming visit to Japan before the end of October.
He said his upcoming trip to Japan aims to discuss matters that would further strengthen bilateral relations between the two nations.
He would be tackling matters on trade and commerce, the disputed islands in the West Philippine Sea, military equipment, and transportation.
